Zephaniah Farm Vineyard

Depart from your hometown and travel to Leesburg, VA for a brief winery tour and wine tasting at the Zephaniah Farm Vineyard. A specialty food sampler and A Taste of Loudoun Bar with dark chocolate are included. The family-owned winery is a fourth generation working farm with livestock and produces 12 different wines, including whites, reds, and rosé.

Breaux Vineyards

Next stop is a wine tasting of the internationally acclaimed wines of the Breaux Vineyards. The 400+ acre estate has 104 acres planted in 17 different grape varieties. Long vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains can be enjoyed from their tasting room. After your visit, depart for your hotel to check in for a two-night stay. Dinner is on your own in the area this evening.

Morven Park’s Mansion & Gardens

Following breakfast at your hotel, depart for a tour of Morven Park’s Mansion & Gardens. Morven Park was home to World War I era Governor Westmoreland Davis and his wife, who expanded the house to what it is today and added the formal gardens. The Davises’ personal items and extensive collection of arts and antiques acquired during their travels throughout the world are on display. Visit the Carriage Collection and Museum of Hounds & Hunting located on the property.  After your visit, you will enjoy lunch on your own in Downtown Leesburg.

Dodona Manor

This afternoon you will tour Dodona Manor, home of George C. Marshall. During his residency in the home, General Marshall served our nation as Chief of Staff of the Army, as Special Envoy to China, as Secretary of State, as President of the American Red Cross, and as Secretary of Defense. General Marshall was the architect of the European Recovery Plan (The Marshall Plan), and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1953. More than 90 percent of the items in the house belonged to the Marshalls when they lived here in the 1950s.

Loudoun Brewing Company

Loudoun Brewing Co. is a family owned and operated business located in Historic Downtown Leesburg. Cozy up on either of our porches and make yourself at home enjoying one of our handmade craft beers. They have designed over 160 recipes with only eight taps.

The Winery at Bull Run

In mid-afternoon you will depart for Centreville, VA to visit The Winery at Bull Run, a grape to glass farm winery which opened in 2012 and focuses on crafting fine Virginia wines while paying tribute to the history and preservation of their land. Your day of touring will end with a delicious dinner, then return to your
hotel for a relaxing evening.

Manassas National Battlefield Park

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then check out and travel to Manassas, VA to meet
your ranger guide for a tour of the Manassas National Battlefield Park, where on July 21, 1861, two armies clashed for the first time on the fields overlooking Bull Run. In August 1862, Union and Confederate armies converged for a second time on the plains of Manassas. The Confederates won a solid victory brining them to the height of their power. You may have the opportunity to stand in the footsteps of “Stonewall” Jackson and envision the troops marching along the open land during two Civil War battles.

After your visit, stop for lunch at the Farm Brewery at Broad Run, nestled in the quaint community of Haymarket, VA. After Lunch, depart for home with lasting memories of Virginia’s Wine Country.
