GATE 1 Important Information for Passengers:

If any passenger has traveled or created an account with Gate 1 in the past, he/she should have the email address and password available before starting the booking process. If no account has previously been created, an account will be created during the booking process.

If a room pair wants to book but they are not together when they are registering, the first person can register as a single and the second traveler can be added to the reservation at a later time and the room rebooked to a twin. The first person must call 267-585-5100 and advise the agent that it is ok for the second person to be added so the reservation can be noted accordingly. When the second person is ready to book, they should call and ask to be added to the existing reservation as opposed to creating a new reservation.

The first person on the reservation will receive all communication including important reminders for that reservation and will be asked to share that information with each other traveler on the reservation.

Passengers will be required to pay deposit by credit card to register but all payments after are eligible for a 5% cash discount if paid by check, money order, or online ACH payment.

Any changes to reservations or name updates prior to final payment are subject to $50 per person amendment fee. Passengers should register with names exactly as they appear on passports to avoid this fee for updating names later on.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Airfare penalty per person:
Once airfare is purchased, either at time of booking for Instant Purchase Airfare or at time of full payment for Gate 1 Airfare, airline tickets will be issued and are always subject to 100% penalty.
Land Penalty per person:
Cancellation Fees for all Reservations, except where specified:

Up to 91 days prior to departure (13 DEC 2026): $300 per person

90 to 31 days prior to departure (14 DEC-11 FEB 2027): 50%

30 to 2 days prior to departure (12 FEB-12 MAR): 90%

1 day or less prior to departure (13 MAR 2027): 100%

Travelers needing special assistance: To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we recommend selecting a tour that matches your physical
capabilities. Escorted tours are often fast paced and may involve extended walking over uneven terrain. Travelers requiring any special assistance, including those with disabilities, sight, hearing, or mobility impairments, are required to notify Gate 1 Travel at time of booking or as soon as conditions become known. We will review the tour requirements with you to determine the level of assistance needed and to ensure that the trip you have selected is suitable. Travelers who require assistance must travel with a companion who is fully capable of and responsible for providing that support. Gate 1 Travel, including tour managers, guides, drivers, and suppliers, cannot provide individual services such as assisting with walking, pushing a wheelchair, or helping with boarding and disembarking buses, cruise ships, or other vehicles. Travelers must be able to always understand and follow the Tour Manager's instructions for their safety and the safety of others. Gate 1 Travel reserves the right to decline or remove any participant if prior notification was not provided, or if, in our sole judgment, continued participation poses a threat to the health or safety of the
individual or others or would significantly hinder the services to be provided to all participants. Any associated expenses, including cancellation fees or return travel costs, are the responsibility of the passenger. Unused services are non-refundable.
International Tours: Wheelchairs, walkers, and motorized scooters cannot be accommodated aboard motor coaches, river cruises, or other forms of transportation and therefore are not permitted on international tours.
